Fallen Heros

Dale Earnhardt

This is a picture of Dale Earnhart just before the Daytona 500 in 1999, Earnhart was tied with Richard Petty for Winston Cup Championships. The had seven each. So, what racing page would be complete without at least a picture of the greatest driver ever, Dale Earnhart (1951-1999).

Racing is genetic I don't care what anybody says. Racing is a science that very few has figured out. The love of racing is passed down from generation to generation. Their many racing families across this countries including the Pettys, the Earnharts, the Mooneyhams, and the Labonates. This is a picture of Dale Earnhart Jr. and his father the late and great Dale Earnhart Sr.

A Fallen Driver

This is a poem written to honor Davey Allison. A Great driver who departed this world to early.

A Salute To Davey Allison
by Ryan Seek

I believe your friends in life
Are those you get to know
Those you're always glad to see
And sad to see them go.

You and I had never met
But my respect for you, you earned
And a part of me rode with you
Through each and every turn.

I shared joy with you in triumph
When you shined in victory lane
I've seen you carried from the wreckage
Where I felt some of your pain.

Your life held for you such riches
And you wore those treasures well
While you shared it all with others
Plus a little of yourself.

Your stay with us was much too brief
I guess your journey here was through
May Heaven be a better place
Now that it holds a man like you.

You will always be a Champion
In our hearts and in our minds
I know you would have won it all
If the Lord had granted time.

And the sport of auto racing
Will always speak your name
For us the race continues...
But it will never be the same.

We all salute you Davey
For gracing all our lives
To the special man who touched us
We sadly say Goodbye

Goodbye Davey........

--This poem is respectfully dedicated to all the Allison clan and friends.
You've all gone through more than you should. God must hold you in high
respect to know that you'll pull through.
